Vintage: Non-vintage

Varietal: 98% Chardonnay / 2% Chenin blanc

Vineyards: The grapes are harvested from dry-land farmed vineyards in the Western Cape region, where the vines are not trellised and are planted as bush vines. The vineyards are strategically planted on southwest-facing slopes to capture cool breezes from the Atlantic Ocean and cold Benguela currents—deep soils from decomposed granite, clay rich, with good drainage.

Winemaking: With 14 days of fermentation at 14-15°C, the grapes and juice are handled reductively to prevent oxidation and lock in fruitiness. The wine is left on lees for two months to add complexity. The wine is then dealcoholized by way of a gently spun cone technology. This is done under a vacuum and at low temperatures to ensure the wine retains its distinctive body, colour and flavour.

Cost:

Shipping is charged at a flat rate depending on the weight of your order. For orders with 0-2Kg of goods, the fee is £3.95. For orders over 2Kg, the delivery fee is £5.95 and delivery is free regardless of weight when you spend £40 or more in a single order. 

Processing time:

As soon as we receive your order, we get to work packing it and preparing it for dispatch. Orders are always dispatched within 24 hours of receipt and often the same day. Once your package has been shipped, you will receive tracking information via email so that you can follow your parcel’s progress. We do not operate on weekends, so orders on a weekend will be begin their processing time on Monday morning.

Next day options may be available at checkout depending on the availability of products in your order.
